She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn McCalvin. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Jack Henderson of Crawfordville; two grandchildren, Jakey Casto (and husband Greg) of Frederick, Md., and Mark Henderson of Alpharetta, Ga.; two great-grandchildren, Mitch and Matt Casto of Frederick; two nieces, Donna Card (and husband Norm) of Crawfordville and Margaret Worthington of Brinson, Ga.; and several great-nieces and great-nephews and a host of friends and extended family who will miss him greatly. She along with her late husband "Buddy Mac," owned and operated Mac's Grocery and Gas Station for over 40 years; he passed away on Aug. 28, 1991. Funeral service will be held 4:00 pm Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home 1737 Riggins Road. Melissa was loved by many aunts, uncles, friends and loved ones. Other survivors include a daughter, Gisele McCauley Runyan (and husband Ken) of Gainesville, Ga.; a brother, John McCauley of Fayetteville, N.C.; and two grandchildren, Ray Runyan III and Amber Runyan. She also is survived by four sons, Amos Moore (and wife Bebe) and Ary L. Miller (and wife Wendy), both of Crawfordville, and Allan Moore (and wife Robin) and Ary J. Miller (and wife Catherine), both of Tallahassee; a daughter, Theresa Chester (and husband Doug) of Havana; four brothers, James Price, Charles Price and Horace Price, all of Marianna, and Richard Price of North Carolina; a sister, Barbara Jean Cauley of Kinston, N.C.; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Abbey-Riposta Funeral Home (850-562-1518) is handling arrangements. The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. EDT Saturday at Woodville Cemetery. Brady of Newport News, Va., and Rebecca L. VonCannon of Ashboro, N.C.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He also was a U.S. Navy veteran.
